In the immediate aftermath of this horrific event, the country was in collective shock. In New York, the local transportation came to a sudden halt. An eerie silence fell over the entire city. Traumatized people, walking home from their jobs, slogged down the silent streets with zombie-like expressions. With no place else to go, and no way to get there, it was a literal day of the living dead.
Not surprisingly, the uncertainty and upheaval at ASAPS left me, once again, unemployed and left to my own devices. Fortunately, during my time there, I got to know many of the top cosmetic surgeons on the country and witnessed patient experiences firsthand. A few patients were willing to share their experiences with me – the good, the bad, and the gruesome. What I could not anticipate was how some of their experiences were unexpectedly laughable.
One in particular was a patient who was in need of a place stay for a few days of post-surgical recovery. In her case, it was a nearby Marriott. Because someone walking around with their head covered in surgical bandages can be an awful sight, the hotel management arranged for her to enter and exit by a private entrance as to not scare the daylights out of other guests.

Soon she was well enough to head home so she called the front desk to check out. Finding the private exit locked, she scurried back to her room where she surreptitiously peeked out the door, checking both ways, until the coast was clear and made a run for the guest elevators.
No sooner did she enter the car did she find herself in an all-glass elevator with a 360° view that opened into the lobby breakfast buffet!
As the elevators door parted open, gasps of shock and horror filled the dining room humiliating the patient, and gagging the diners.

Moving right along, after leaving ASAPS, I decided to put my insight into pre-and-post op treatments and doctor-recommended ingredients to good use.
BorellBeautyLLC was formed to accomplish this mission.
